Ohio State vs Tulane: The return of Urban Meyer is here as Tulane will travel to Columbus to take on Ohio State in the Buckeyes’ final tune-up before Big Ten play. Get a summary of the Tulane Green Wave vs Ohio State Buckeyes football game.
Turns out the fifth series Tate Martell package isn’t actually a thing. We saw it Ohio State’s first two games against bad opponents, but not last Saturday in a real game against TCU.
We’ll see it again this week against Tulane.
Disclaimer that Tulane, per Bill Conelly’s S&P+ analytics ratings, is better than Oregon State and Rutgers. Yikes. So perhaps the Buckeyes won’t run through the Green Wave like they did those other two.
But this week in outrageous predictions, we’re banking on Ohio State (37-point favorites) being up comfortably enough to get Martell a lot of work and the starters some rest before next week’s monster Big Ten game at Penn State.
So I’m picking three touchdowns for Martell, and Doug is going 100 yards each rushing and passing for OSU’s exciting backup QB. We discuss our outrageous predictions more in the video above.
Ohio State and Tulane kick off at 3:30 p.m. Saturday on Big Ten Network.
